Pup DOW
Hi guys! It's pup time. As promised, I am sharing with you the Pup days of the week patterns. You may recall that they were #2 on your list of requests, after creepy lambs.
This pup is everything I want in a dog - charming, fluffy, resourceful, and helpful. He mends, he dusts, he shops, he does the wash, he even does the ironing! I especially love the gingham-looking lettering for the days of the week - hey if resourceful fluffy pups aren't your thing, you can still stitch the lettering.
As always, let me know if you've stitched this pup, have memories of this pup, or anything noteworthy or totally trivial to share. Enjoy the pups! :)

Creepy Lamb DOW
Ask, and you shall receive... weirdness! The clear winner in the poll for the DOW pattern you wanted to see next was - creepy lambs!
Okay, they're not TOTALLY creepy. I mean, they're a little endearing, if you can ignore the glassy stare, the fact that they only have one tooth, and that they're camped out on your ironing board, knitting you a sock, washing your clothes, baking, and dusting.
Thanks for your responses to the poll! :) Bears tied with Puppies for second place, so I plan to scan those in the coming weeks. Next was Angels, which are pretty adorable, so I'll also share those. Coming in dead last were Poodles. Poor poodles!
Enjoy your creepy lambs - let me know if you stitch them, what you plan to stitch them on or who you're stitching them for. Have an awesome week, you guys! :)

Custom pillowcase pattern #2
Hey guys! Back again with more ideas for pillowcases. I started off with a simple cross stitch font and a sweet little bird design. I realize there's a whole host of cute, weird, or funny things you could say on these but I thought the basics would be nice:
Hope you enjoy and as always, please comment if you've stitched these - I'd love to see them!

Custom pillowcase pattern
This week, I decided to do something a little different... instead of just bringing a few old patterns out of the vault, I decided to combine them to make a new vintage pattern!
I started off with those two images at the top, which are very nice as is, but I thought that together they'd make a really pretty pillowcase pattern. I added a few french knots on the "Hers" pattern, and if you know a "His" who won't mind a pillowcase so thoroughly girlified, you could try the "His" pattern, too:
I like all the detail you could work into this pattern - and if you stitch it, be sure to leave a comment or send me an email, I'd definitely love to see it! :)

Dutch Days of the Week
Here's a little Friday freebie for you! In my early days of scanning, I had SO MANY transfers to catalogue, that I never tried to scan a whole set. For peeps who love Days of the Week patterns (like me), that was surely a bummer.
So, I thought I'd scan all of these Dutch girl days of the week patterns for you. I found them unmarked, and they don't look like any transfer pattern companies I'm familiar with - the lines are dark blue, and they're a bit yellow with age. The lines are much simpler and thicker than some of the other patterns I usually scan, but I think she's pretty charming just the same.
Hope you like these, and stay tuned for tomorrow - when you'll see a guest post by Beth about an exciting vintage pattern contest starting soon! :)

Senorita and chicken
Let me formally add this scene to the culturally accurate annals of vintage transfer art. :) What? You've never seen a Mexican woman with a chicken on her head? It's really the best mode of transport, for a chicken. It also keeps one's lunch quite fresh. I also like how the baby has cute creature-from-the-black-lagoon hands. :) Okay, regardless, of these elements I still love this señorita pattern. And the next time I don't know where to put my lunch, I'll be sure to wear it on my head.

Crinoline lady #3
This crinoline lady has very pointy hands and a waspish waist, but is charming nonetheless. I'd like to think she's warming up for some really good dance moves.

Crinoline lady #2
Here's another crinoline lady for you - she's pretty cute, her slightly vacant stare notwithstanding. :)
And by the way, if you've been having trouble pinning my images to Pinterest I am so sorry! I hadn't visited Pinterest since they added Flickr attribution. The attribution is awesome, but it knocked something out of whack and pinning wasn't working for my stuff. :( But I found the right permission in Flickr and it's fixed now, so, happy pinning! :)

Crinoline lady pillowcase
I received a couple of messages from a reader, Phyllis who said she was looking for crinoline ladies. Now I'll warn you I am usually pretty pokey about responding to such requests, it's not that I don't want to - it's just finding the time! :) But I just happened to have crinoline ladies on the brain so trotted out to my garage to see what I could find...
I found this cute girl as part of a large pillowcase pattern below - my sheet was very fragile and I got a couple of small tears while scanning - but not in vain as I am finally sharing her with you guys! :)
I also flipped over the envelope and got quite a kick out of the verbose directions, which I thought I'd share with you guys as well:

Same Old Grind
Here's a cutie from the archives! Phew! It is tough work being enough of a multi-tasker to remember to post in 3 places. I'm brainstorming some ideas for managing that, so stay tuned. In the meantime, enjoy this pooch! :)

Lilies for you
Yes, your eyes don't fool you - it's an actual post! From me! On this blog! :) I've been thinking through the aims of this particular blog a lot, and I'm debating which direction to take it. I've been so busy on Feeling Stitchy and my personal blog, that I haven't dedicated much time here.
While I decide, I'll be re-arranging this site a bit to make the actual patterns easier to find. Hope you enjoy this one! These lovely calla lilies always make me think of Frida Kahlo - they'd be gorgeous on a set of pillowcases, don't you think? :)
